Classroom Culture Associates (CCAs)
Our CCAs are an essential part of developing a strong sense of culture in the classroom to target absenteeism, suspensions and improve student morale, increase student self-esteem and increase parent-teacher communication as well as other factors that impact the educational excellence in the classroom. Each CCA is Handle with Care certified and Trauma-Informed Care trained, these specialties equip the CCA to act as an advocate for teachers, parents and students.
Their role is to improve the academic environment by building relationships with teachers, enhancing community within the classroom and addressing behavior concerns through restorative classroom methods. CCAs are proactive in creating behavioral plans for each student that the lead teacher identifies and works to implement this plan with the administration, classroom educators and the student’s family.
