Culture Engagement Tour 

We offer schools and organizations an opportunity to join our Cultural Engagement Tour, a two-hour community-based tour, developed to introduce and enhance the relationship between teachers and school leaders in their own communities. This is a unique educational city tour as well as a professional development opportunity for you and your staff. This tour helps teachers gain insight into the cultures, influential institutions and ever-changing perception of the City of Trenton. Participants will learn about important local history, current community revitalization efforts and meet City leaders and business owners that can help support school efforts throughout the year. 
 

Survey results, past participants have shared that their involvement in the C.E.T. has helped familiarize them with the schools’ surroundings and have provided them with a better understanding of where their students live and play. Through these independent surveys, the tour has been called, the most impactful experience as a new teacher and staff member that I have received.
